Pet portrait artist Jan Dungan has landed ! After a 22 year career as a pilot Jan is finally able to fully embrace her artist-self, offering stunningly accurate and heart warming pet portraits.

Jan is very proficient in all types of medium, oil, acrylic, water color, however her pet portraits are primarily in acrylic on stretched canvas. She has extensive experience in computer illustration and a great interest in animation.

She also spends a lot of her time working on ceramics.

Jan came to the U.S. in 1978 from Melbourne  Australia. She has lived in Forth Worth Texas (where she received all her flying credentials ) Las Vegas Nevada (where she flew the Grand Canyon Tours), Klamath Falls Oregon and Los Angeles California and has made the Central Coast of California her home for the past 25 years.

Animals are one of Jan's great passions ( she is a Vegetarian ) and has shared her home over the years with Boo, Tippy, Riven, Myst, Milo and Jack.
